BMG Outsourcing is currently looking for a versatile Bookkeeper to work with one of our Australian clients that provide financial record keeping and financial services. This position will provide bookkeeping and administration assistance to our clients in Australia.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Preparation and review of payroll.
  • Prepare information for any payments or schedule of payments as required.
  • Reconcile accounts as determined by the Company.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and identify missing invoices
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Clearly communicate any missing information
  • Document any special requirements or problems from the work for reference to management.
  • Prepare invoices as required.
  • Perform other accounting duties as required
  • Maintain positive relationship with clients and their staff.
  • Record time and work completed.
  • To develop personal and professional skills e.g. Xero, MS Office applications, Email and other Sales, Marketing and operational programs.
  • Minimum of 3 ¬†years Australian bookkeeping and accounting experience
  • With deep knowledge and experience using Xero or MYOB accounting software
  • Competent with computer operations as well as some specific applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook.
  • Experience with relevant computer systems
  • The person must be keen to learn and develop their computer competencies
  • Particularly good in verbal and written English communication skills
  • Must have the ability to practice excellence in all aspects of their book-keeping work.
