Hiring SMSF Accountant

We are looking for an experienced SMSF Accountant. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, providing comprehensive SMSF accounting support and solutions to our diverse clientele. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about superannuation, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional client service.

  • All aspects of ongoing SMSF Accounting and support
  • Efficient, timely and accurate preparation of appropriate SMSF financial reports
  • Timely and accurate identification of SIS and tax compliance issues
  • Preparation and processing of tax returns and financials
  • Ensuring files are completed and kept up to date
  • Preparation of pension documents and calculations
  • Preparation of quarterly activity statements
  • Supporting the Client Manager deliver on all accounting requirements for an SMSF (accumulation and pension phase)
  • Two years or more of SMSF accounting experience (Australian accounting experience)
  • Sound technical knowledge of SMSF compliance and regulations and accounting requirements.
  • Experience with Class Super and/or BGL
  • Experience with accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Workflow Max, etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Accounting degree qualification, CPA preferred
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Team player
  • Willing to learn and expand their knowledge, motivated by continuous improvement
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Clark Freeport Zone
  • Full time position only
  • Current passport, available for immediate travel to Australia for training
