The HR generalist is responsible for everything related to employee management aiding the HR Manager. From payroll, benefits, and contract management to organizing training days / schedules and educational materials for new employees. Depending on the size of the business the HR generalist can be a stand-alone position that reports directly to the HR Manager of a company.

  • Assist in providing HR policies and procedure guidance to employees and management.
  • Preparation of Employment Contract
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Philippine Labor Law compliance requirements.
  • Work with Benefits Specialist and Company Nurse regarding HMO enrollments, changes, issuance of COC and other HMO concerns.
  • Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
  • Work with Payroll Specialist regarding attendance checking for payroll processing.
  • Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
  • Familiarity with new employee on-boarding and orientation.
  • Process employee complaints and create and escalation report to be submitted to HR Manager for necessary investigation and appropriate disciplinary action.
  • Oversee maintenance of employee personnel records.
  • Manage and implement all employee relations programs with HR Assistants including, but not limited to, company-initiated activities such as but not limited to team meetings, company events and team buildings.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field preferably in the BPO / Outsourcing set up.
  • Solid understanding of SSS, Philhealth and Pag Ibig
  • Wide and in depth understanding of Philippine Labor Law guidelines and employment regulations.
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years human resources experience
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency with MS 365
