We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Hospitality Fitout Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing cost estimates, communicating with trade partners, and ensuring the timely completion of projects.   • Use our In-house CEPCON (Costing/Estimate/Proposal/CONtract) software based on excel
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to seek best price / best standard quotations;
  • Develop, assess and review bids on Buildertrend;
  • Organise site meetings with relevant trades to lock in prices
  • Send out Purchase Orders based on best bids (depends on availability of trade)
  • Track actual costs and compare / question differences in quotes;
  • Organize site inspections to ensure client requirements are being satisfied; 
  • Develop proposals and partake in negotiations with customers
  • Fine tune costing and produce contracts ready for signing
  • Co-ordinating site measurements for ordering materials;
  • Initiating tradespeople and suppliers;
  • Source and procure materials on best pricing methods (go shopping for discounts!)
  • Creating project schedules and Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure job is running to schedule;
  • Ensuring timely delivery of required equipment, materials etc. in co-ordination with Site Manager;
  • Initiate progress payments with customers and schedules with Site Manager ensuring these are met;
  • Liaising with Customer and Business Development Manager with regards to variations;
  • P&L and budget control;
  • Documenting expenditure and variations;
  • Manage OC (Occupation Certificate) process
  • Improving and updating current systems;
  • Direct ongoing communication with Business Manager, Designer, customer and other stakeholders.
  • · Bachelors degree in accounting, applied science, civil engineering, or related field.

    · A minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospitality fitout estimating is preferred.

    · Ability to read architectural plans and develop accurate cost estimates.

    · Strong understanding of residential construction processes.

    · Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

    · Excellent multitasking abilities and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

    · Impeccable problem-solving skills and attention to detail
